OUTSIDE FOOD



Talking about the mess the standard meal is quite decent and is edible.But many students in the hostel do not like the food.If you have earlier stayed in the hostel you can manage easily.There are other options for meals is food court in the university campus
if you want to have outside food then get it from the “South Indian Mess” Taste too good but the dishes are bit spicy. Hope it will help u. Dont forget to visit 34 block food joint . You will find amazing food to full your belly any 

MESS FOOD

MESS FOOD 

As per my knowledge LPU has two types of active mess in hostels: North Indian Food Mess and South Indian Food Mess
You will be served 4 times a day according to menu pattern of summer and winters (changes according to season)
Breakfast: Paranthas, Tea and Bread with vegetables somedays
Lunch: Rice,chapati,pulses,seasonal vegetables and curd with green salads
Tea: evenings are served wid tea and snacks
Dinner: almost same as lunch including any sweet dish
On other side iam not familiar wid the menu of south indian mess bur sure they too serve 4 times a day

. Flexible Food and Mess Options: 
In order to provide students with more flexibility and increased choice of food varieties, the university is providing more options to the students in selecting the mess, flexible food options etc. The details of various options being provided to the students
 Choice of food (North Indian food or South Indian food)  Option A: North Indian food The students have a choice of North Indian food in both Standard menu and Basic menu.
Option B: Regional (South Indian) food The students have a choice of Regional (South Indian) Food in Standard menu and Basic menu

 Choice of mess  


For boys only Option A: Avail mess in the allocated hostel (where student stays).  Option B: Choose Central Mess facility at the back of Block 44. At this central location, students will further have the choice of 3 different mess facilities serving North Indian and South Indian food on first come first serve basis (refer to the example below for details).
For girls (staying in GH1,2,3,4 hostels only) Option A: Avail mess in the allocated hostel (where student stays).  Option B: Choose Mess facility at any of the GH1,2,3,4 hostels on first come first serve basis (refer to the example below for detail
